It is still a work in process but we're back online and ready to serve our loyal customers.

We're excited about once again having control over our own website.

As before, shipping is free in the US via Media Mail.

A New Era - Part Two

Our online shop, Pogo's Place Books, is no more.

As we previously reported, we were dealt a near-fatal blow by the credit card industry and our online shop provider.  With the only credit card options available being PayPal and Google Wallet, we elected Option C - closing our online shop.

We originally reported that our books would be available for purchase at Biblio.com but during the implementation we determined we could better serve you by selling through IOBAbooks. You can learn more about IOBA - Independent Online Booksellers Association and IOBAbooks here.
 
Pogo'sPlaceBooks.com  and any links lurking out on the web will route you to Pogo's Place. 
As of today, it is still a work in process but we do have a listing of each book available for sale and a link to its listing on IOBAbooks where you can purchase the book.

As we did with Pogo's Place Books, shipping via Media Mail within the USA is free. 

We'll be back with more reports as we make progress.

A New Era

Our online shop, Pogo's Place Books, is no more.

Our reopening after our move from Texas to the hilltop in Pennsylvania has been slow but we do have some books online and we have been selling to our customers.

Recently, however, we were dealt a near-fatal blow by the credit card industry and our online shop provider. 

Protection of your credit card information is an industry-wide priority.  The good folks who provided our online shopping experience weren't in compliance and they apparently aren't going to be anytime soon.  (There is a soap opera quality sub-plot to this tale but we're not going there.) Our option was to stay open offering payment through PayPal or Google Wallet or close.  We elected to close.

Our solution is NOT pretty but we hope you'll find it efficient.  It is NOT completely up and running today but we hope it will be soon.  Pogo's Place Books  and any links lurking out on the web will route you to Pogo's Place.

• Follow the link at Pogo's Place to our books on Biblio.com. Biblio.com is a full-service site representing many independent booksellers.  You will initially be routed to only our listings at Biblio but once there you'll be free to add items from multiple, independent sellers to your shopping cart.  Secure payment is available through all the usual methods.
