Small Community Life at Its WORST

My good friends at Mostly Romance contacted me to ask if I knew what was going on right under my nose in Snyder County.

Can you say shocked and appalled! ! !

A local high school teacher writes books and they are PUBLISHED! ! !   But that's not all . . . they contain erotica.

Since we are so late coming to this party, I will direct you to an interview with Judy Mays that appeared in Publisher's Weekly.

PLEASE watch the video at the bottom of the interview labeled Team Judy made by one of her former students Cody Kratzer. Priceless.

Things have died down here in the community but not for Judy.  Her Facebook page was recently removed because of "community violations."  There is no appeal or remedy. The few baseless whiners are continuing to be heard.

Judy is still being supported and posting on Facebook on a page created by two folks Judy didn't even know.  Head on over and give it a LIKE . . .  it's a good thing.

This has been the only negative in our almost one year here . . .

Idiotic, small-minded people will always be among us but this sorry excuse for a news outlet television station is just . . . hmmmmm, I wonder when their license renewal is . . .

As I was saying . . .

It has been awhile.

We've moved cross country. It has been quite an adventure!

For the last thirty-six years, we've lived in my husband's native North Texas. Now we are living in the Susquehanna Valley of Pennsylvania - not too far from Plymouth Meeting where I grew up.

We only have a few items for sale but come Fall that will be picking up.

Meanwhile, I do have an adventure to share with you from my new home town.

Do you know who Judy Mays is?

We'll pick up on THAT story tomorrow.
